UL Listing or Recognition means UL Solutions tested samples against the applicable UL safety standard and audits the factory that builds them. A UL file number is the usual evidence an inspector or specifier asks for in North America.
Europe
- TÜV
A TÜV certificate is third-party testing against the European EN standard. It is the evidence behind a CE declaration rather than a replacement for it: CE remains the manufacturer's own declaration, and the TÜV report is what makes that declaration defensible.
International
- CB Scheme
A CB Test Certificate reports testing against the IEC standard and is accepted by member certification bodies as the basis for a national approval.
