DC/DC Enclosed Type

Enclosed DC/DC converters are cased units with terminal connections that convert one DC voltage to another inside a machine or vehicle, where the available supply is a battery or DC bus rather than the AC mains. The case gives mechanical protection and a mounting surface for installation by the equipment builder.

Choose by the input voltage range the source will present over its operating cycle, the output voltage and current required, and whether input-to-output isolation is needed; then check case size, cooling method and temperature range against the installation.
