Frequently asked questions

Do I need to derate this supply inside a sealed enclosure?

Yes. The published current rating assumes free air convection at 100 percent load up to 50 C. Inside a sealed enclosure the internal air sits above ambient, so size against the temperature at the supply, not the room.

Can two units be wired in parallel for more current?

Only where the datasheet lists a parallel function. Without it the units will not share load evenly and one will current-limit first.

What is the lead time on stocked part numbers?

Stocked part numbers ship within two business days. Anything not in stock is quoted with a firm date before the order is confirmed.
