UL Listing or Recognition means UL Solutions tested samples against the applicable UL safety standard and audits the factory that builds them. A UL file number is the usual evidence an inspector or specifier asks for in North America.
Canada
- CSA
Certification to a CSA C22.2 standard, the Canadian counterpart of the UL series. Datasheets cite the specific C22.2 number, which is how you tell a power-supply certificate from a luminaire-controlgear one.
Europe
- ENEC
ENEC is a pan-European mark for electrical equipment, issued by a national certification body and recognised across the member schemes. It covers both product testing and factory surveillance, which is what separates it from a self-declared CE mark.
Eurasian Economic Union
- EAC
Conformity with the Eurasian Economic Union technical regulations, covering Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. TP TC 004 is the low-voltage regulation and TP TC 020 the electromagnetic-compatibility one, so which number appears tells you what was assessed.
Japan

Conformity with Japan's Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Act. Japanese datasheets cite a J-prefixed standard such as J62368-1, which is the Japanese deviation-adjusted version of the IEC text.
